An Assortment of May...

If I had to pick a theme for May it would be either GROWING UP or CHANGE. Our little family has been doing lots of both of those things this past month. We started May by buying our first house! We moved in on May 5th (happy Cinco de Mayo!) and that very same day Caden started crawling! So as we unpacked we also baby proofed...we officially have locks on the coupards and baby gates at the stairs. Not even a week after he started crawling Caden figured out how to pull himself up to standing in his crib. A few days later Caden got his very first tooth and 5 days after that the second one popped up! Now Caden is crawling all over the place, pulling himself to standing on almost anything (including Porter) and is even starting to transition between objects while standing. He is so much more independent now than he's ever been before and loves to be on the ground and free to crawl around and explore his space. He loves anything electronic and one of his favorite things right now is the garage door! He pushes the button and stares at it going up and down with a HUGE smile and a look of awe on his face. He would do it over and over and over again if we let him.

Zach took the first two weeks off in May so we could move and get everything settled and it was so great to have him home for so long. I'm very happy to say that we CAN spend two weeks straight with each other and still want to hang out all the time. Being the wife of a pilot can be kind of tough sometimes when he's gone for 4 days at a time and I'm home by myself with the baby, so it was SO nice to have him around for 2 weeks straight!
